Gender Equality Plan

The Gender Equality Plan (GEP) is the University’s strategy for gender equality, defined—according to the EIGE—as a “set of commitments and actions” aimed at promoting Sustainable Development Goal 5 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

It is implemented through a structured set of activities, interventions, and policies.

The GEP is organized into five main thematic areas:

  • Work–life balance and organizational culture
  • Gender balance in leadership positions and decision-making bodies
  • Gender equality in recruitment and career progression
  • Integration of the gender dimension in research and teaching
  • Prevention and combating of gender-based violence, including sexual harassment
