The Joint Committee for Equal Opportunities is pleased to announce, following the signing of the agreement with Arnera Social Cooperative Onlus, the conclusion of a further agreement with the Santa Caterina School Cooperative, in order to provide a concrete response to the identified need within our university community for access to qualified school and after-school services for their children.

The agreement is part of the actions foreseen in the University’s Gender Equality Plan, aimed at promoting organisational well-being through concrete measures to strengthen the work–life–study–research balance for all members of the University of Pisa community.

The agreement is addressed to all members of the university community (students; PhD candidates; scholarship holders; research fellows; postgraduate medical trainees; academic staff and researchers; technical and administrative staff; as well as all individuals coming from abroad to spend a period of study, research, or work at our University). It offers discounted rates and priority access, covering all stages of the educational pathway, from nursery school to preschool, and from primary school through lower and upper secondary education.

In addition, in order to provide the most comprehensive offer possible, the agreement also includes an after-school service, available every day from Monday to Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
