On Friday, June 5, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the conference “Gender and Health: the constitutional perspective from an interdisciplinary approach” will be held in the Aula Magna of Palazzo Matteucci (Piazza E. Torricelli 2, Pisa). The event is promoted by the Joint Committee for Equal Opportunities (CUG) of the University of Pisa and by lecostituzionaliste.
The initiative proposes an interdisciplinary discussion on gender, health, and law, with particular attention to gender medicine and the new challenges in clinical, social, and legal fields.
The day will open with introductory remarks by Elisabetta Catelani, President of the CUG of the University of Pisa, and will include two thematic panels dedicated to clinical trials, workplace safety, health determinants, and new perspectives in gender medicine across the entire life course.
In the afternoon, a roundtable discussion will take place with scholars, fostering an interdisciplinary exchange on health policies from a gender perspective.
