
The Confidential Advisor at the University of Pisa is responsible for preventing and addressing discrimination and harassment in workplaces and study environments, and her role is governed by specific regulations.
- The Confidential Advisor, acting in full autonomy and in compliance with the confidentiality of all individuals involved:
- provides assistance, counselling, and listening services to support those who believe they have been victims of discrimination or harassment, and works towards resolving individual cases;
- may gather testimonies and access any relevant administrative documents related to the case under review, propose conciliation and mediation meetings, and suggest actions aimed at ensuring a work environment that respects the freedom, equality, and dignity of all individuals involved;
- monitors potential risk situations by carrying out assessments of discomfort, including through the organisation of dedicated group and individual meetings with the various components of the University, ensuring the anonymity of all parties involved.
